About Me

I am Judit Szalai. Art therapist, Gestalt therapist, ex-teacher.

Multiculturalism has been the very essence of my existence eversince I was a child. I have lived in several countries including Africa, the Middle-East and Europe. Foreignness has always been a part of my identity in many sense. Having first hand experience myself  supporting others in their own alienness comes naturally.

I have been working with various groups of people and individuals for almost 30 years. During this period  I often worked in a multicultural environment, which gave me an insight into other cultures and at the same time put me and my own country into a different perspective.

Arts and crafts and photography have always played an important role in my life.  Pictures and images of all kinds help me make sense of the world and cope with challenges.

Currently I am a freelance Art and Gestalt therapist running art therapy groups and having individual clients from all over the world.

In the last few years body-psychotherapy and self-regulation have also been in the focus of my interest and have been a part of my toolkit.
